Hello again,

We would like to thank you for your email and we hope you are well, also.

We would also like to tell you that we had a most wonderful time on our tour in Vietnam.   From the time we arrived until the morning we left, it was beautiful.  Each of our tour guides were very professional and very knowledgeable of the area and tours they were guiding us on.  We will remember each one of them for their contribution to our tour.   Mr. Le, with his quick humor and flexibility.  We had asked if we might go to the Cao Dai temple on the day we were going to the Cu Chi tunnels instead of the half day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City and he said it would be no problem.  We did find the Cao Dai temple to be fascinating and we appreciated his  flexibility.  Mr. Phuoung was very warm and welcoming on our arrival in Hanoi.  He made our time in Hanoi very exciting and we left wishing we had more time there.  Steven, at Halong Bay, always smiling and happy.  It made us very happy just to be with him and he took very good care of us while we were on the junk in the very beautiful Halong Bay.   Mr. Sinh, with his vibrant personality, touched our hearts and we will always remember his amazing knowledge of Vietnamese history of the sites we visited in and around Hue and Hoi An.   Mr. Duong in Nha Trang was very professional in guiding us though the Nha Trang Oceanography Institute, Tri Nguyen Aquarium and to Mun Island.  As you can see, the guides made our tour beautiful and exciting.  The Mekong Delta portion of our tour, again with Mr. Le, was fascinating and Mr. Le knew the area very well and was always ready to answer any questions we had.

We were more than pleased with our accommodations, with the exception of the Nha Trang Lodge.  Mr. Doung’s wife met us at the air port and escorted us to the hotel.  She said it was a 5 star hotel.  It definitely is not a 5 star.  The hotel is in need of some serious updating and while the staff was not unfriendly, they were not friendly as we had experienced in all the other hotels.  Also, I would not recommend a massage there.  The facilities were not clean and the spa staff were not professional.  We felt this hotel was no more than a 3 star.  That being said, our room was very clean and we had a great view of the beach.  Also, the buffet breakfast was more than adequate.  The Windsor Plaza, the Movenpick,  the Camellia, the Hoi An Riverside and the Victoria in Can Tho were all very superior hotels with the most beautiful rooms and amenities.  All the hotel staff members welcomed us warmly and were careful to make sure we enjoyed our stay with them.  We had an incident where we had lost a camcorder and the Windsor Plaza night manager went above what we would have expected in order to try to help us.  We did not recover the camera but we certainly appreciated all that he did for us.  Our last night at the Windsor Plaza, before returning home, was spent in the Presidential Suite.  They said we were the “Happy Guests” and they upgraded us to a suite that was pure luxury.  Never have we stayed in such a beautiful hotel room!

We are so pleased to have found Vietnam Royal Tourism on the internet.  We also want to thank you, Ms. Huyen, for arranging such an amazing tour for us.  It is a trip we will always remember as being one of the best we have had and that is due to your expertise.  We have already recommended you to friends and will continue to recommend you.  You may freely use us as a reference for your company.   We would be delighted to tell others of the wonderful job you did for us and let them know just how perfect our tour was.

We would also like to make sure that each of our guides know how much we appreciated them and their professionalism and knowledge.

Thank you so much, Ms. GiNF.  We will contact you when we once again plan to make a trip to Vietnam.

Most Sincerely,

Ruby and Douglas Hargrove
